Arizona Amethyst Mine Helicopter Tours
Our Public and Private tours are offered March through May and September through November, weather permitting.
Our Fall 2026 Public tours are all fully booked now. We encourage you to consider getting a group of your family and friends together to book a Private tour, anytime between now and the end of November. The price per seat is $600, empty or full, so you might as well fill up the seats and enjoy a Private tour.
The Mine tour includes a helicopter ride up to the mine, located at 6,200 ft, in between the 3rd and 4th Peaks of the Mazatzal Mountains. You will take a short hike up to the mine entrance, where you will be able to enter the Mine and dig for your own Amethyst.
You must be at least 12 years of age.

Available on any date, other than Public tour dates (Nov. 14th) , based upon helicopter availability

A 50% deposit* is required to reserve the helicopter. The balance will be charged on the day of your tour.

$1,800 for parties of 1-3 people, with a total weight limit of 600 lbs, or $3,000 for 4-5 people, with a total weight limit of 900 lbs.

*If a flight is canceled due to weather or other circumstances out of our control, your deposit can be refunded or applied to a future trip.
